Daisy-Mae a new doll

 good morning all
sharing a new doll that i recently made
this is Daisy a small 10 1/2" hand sewn doll using all natural fibres and fabrics (based on waldorf dolls) complete with knitted dress.

i had planned on making and selling my dolls as toys for small children (as heirloom gifts for when they are older)  but for the life of me i can't bring myself round to carry out the test that are needed to certify them as a toy in particular setting fire to them.
i understand the necessary procedure i really do but i can't get past it.
so for now the dolls i have made are safely stored away until i have carried out more research.

Daisy is approx 10 1/2" tall
small list of materials used (including some links)
pattern for the dress is adapted from: Mary Janes Tearoom, using milburn 4ply from

and other items:
mohair weft, skin fabric, natural wool stuffing:  Little oke dolls
eyes: DMC: embroidary thread
blushed cheeks: bees wax crayon

thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day
and craft happy. Ann
