photo journal of a new waldorf doll

good morning all
im stopping by with a quickish post of a photo journal of my latest waldorf inspired doll.
although this little cutie has no name as yet she is destined to be a ballerina and i am in the process of creating her outfit, but for now a little taster of her progress

and the journey begins with her body

hand sewn together using a small back stich

all body parts sewn and turned out

at this point i attach the dolls head
as i find this the easiest for me in the process of doll making

the dolls head was created with a little needle felting, her body and arms have been stuffed with wool and all the pices are sewn into place.

a little blush added to define her cheeks and forhead

my new auntie flo wefted wig attached

and my doll has been dressed to keep her warm.

dolls hair has been tied back
until her new outfit is ready

join me again soon to see the completed doll.

thanks for looking, enjoy your day and
craft happy, Ann
