first christmas

hi everyone i can't believe it's almost two weeks since my last post.
where has all the time gone in the run up to christmas it's just flown past.
i didn't manage any craft time after i'd finished making cards and gifts for family and friends and hopefully this week i can make amends.
i'm back today to share a card using one of my fave stamp brands lili of the valley . just a heads up they currently have a sale on, save 30% until noon today (excludes latest launch).
back to my make i've used christmas bunting (still available in the ebay outlet store) and she has been coloured with my copic markers

Merry Christmas santa claus is coming to town

good morning everyone.
i'm back today with my 2nd dc card share in conjunction with Lili of the valley's facebook challenge in between all the sneaky peeks of the next lotv release from the team.
back to my share.
i have to say crafters i am over the moon on how this project has turned out. to create my background i have joined in with this months marker colouring class over at kit and clowder and as always i have learned loads and i have topped my project off with one of my Lili of the valley christmas stamps: snowy presents (retired as a stamp). this project has all been coloured with my copic markers.

i have an admission one of my markers blobbed badly on one of the trees, but on the plus side my image has been fussy cut and has hid the blob really well.

first christmas

hi everyone.
i have a card to share with you all today using one of the cute images from Lili of the valley. this is wish upon a star 
and i have coloured this cutie with my copic markers.
i have also used a variety of papers and card stock from my stash and i've used a variety of dies to embellish. to give my card a little dimension i have stamped and coloured a base image with c5 and then i have fussy cut and added my coloured image to the card using pinflair glue. my inspiration for this came from the very talented Mariska van der Veer i just love how she builds her images on her cards. (yet to be a little braver and do multi layers)

although the image is not from lotv's christmas range i thought it married nicely with the sentiments.

with sympathy

hi everyone i'm back today sharing a bereavement card.
i don't know about you but i always struggle creating sympathy cards and for today's card i had an idea in my head of a CAS style card sadly the topper was not what i wanted to reflect so it ended up in the bin.
and along came take two. parts of what i had created i liked so they made it onto my finished card shown below ready for my OH to give to the recipient.

i'm so thankful

hi everyone.
popping in today to share my card with you all.
i've coloured up this adorable image called fay loves fall from stampingbellas tiny townie range with my distress ink. i really love this medium and it's all thanks to KC project class sharing their knowledge i can colour these cute images.

i have chosen to go for a very autumnal feel on my card and the jury is still out on my background colouring though. but i do love my finished card.
