a thank you card for Meglena:

hi and welcome to my share for today.
a simple thank you card using one of my lili of the valley stamps:
rosie posy (discontinued)

todays card is a peek-a-boo card, i have made one or two in the past and like a numpty this time i forgot the process and i have muggled my way through.....

my card is for a lovely lady who i finally got to meet on saturday at her workshop in clacton-on-sea, i had booked one of her workshops back in 2020 that was to be hosted in Devon but covid struck and it was cancelled and thankfully new workshops were advertised earlier this year here in the uk and some abroad and i didn't hesitate to book.
i attended a North Coast Dolls workshop with Meglena.
her dolls are exquisite and over this bank holiday weekend i will have attended her uk workshop learning how to create a beautiful needle felted dolls head with features, including how to stuff her body correctly and create a crochet wig.
i just hope everything i am shown this weekend sinks in.

back to the card:
for this card i have painted my image with distress ink, used some beautiful papers from maja design's new collection: mum's garden.

i will do another post in the near future with a little more about my doll making weekend but for now when this goes live i will be exhilarated, exhausted, hopefully still fast a sleep recovering in readiness for our journey back home to westhoughton.

finally:
thanks for stopping by, enjoy your bankholiday monday and
craft happy, Ann
