smile, enjoy, celebrate. bride to be

good morning crafters
welcome to my share for today:
a bride to be card
another recent make from the images i coloured a while ago.

my image has been coloured with distress ink and i've added a little frantage around the edges. usually when i colour i don't always think about what papers i have in my stash but thankfully spring garden from maja designs fitted in perfectly.

now we are into autumn i forgot how early the lighting changes in my craft room and i didn't want to change the brightness of the photos when i edited them so they are a little darker than i'd hope for.

i love the whole look of the distressed edges on all my layers including the sentiment.

 some of the items used:
6"x6" white base card
distress re-inkers
fabriano watercolour paper
maja designs paper pad
white card
stamps:
stampingbella - image & sentiments
mulberry roses
velvet cord
frantage embossing enamel

where i buy some of my supplies from:
dies to die for, stampingbella, art from the heart, carroway cottage, the mad scrapper, sevenhills crafts, ken bromley, craftheaven-shop.

all it leaves me now to say is:
thanks for stopping by enjoy your day and
craft happy, Ann

wishing you everything wonderful on your wedding day

 good morning crafters
welcome to my photo heavy share for today.
an elaborate wedding card i have made for my cousins son: James and Darlene's recent wedding.

i have to confess i don't usually plan a card so meticulously

front of card box

i have to do at least one and follow the brief that had been set out, a very enjoyable challenge.

i have surpassed everything i had in my head..lol
from the brief it had to include the date and have a vintage look using
creams & greens

i'm not one for putting everything down on paper

if it fails then i usually start over again

mr & mrs. LOTV

 good morning to all.
well after months of not wanting to do any colouring or card making i feel as though i'm on a roll, just like the proverbial bus, you wait for one and three come along together.
today i'm sharing a wedding card using a stamp from lili of the valley happily ever after set, i fell in love with the bride and groom and i'm impressed with how big the image is.

sadly the photo doesn't do the card justice but you get the gist of the design.

i'm pleased with the chosen colour of the wedding dress, i've used speckled egg and the groom looks rather dashing in his suit.

even though the papers i have used are from vintage baby they work well with the design. originally i was going to use vintage romance but i got carried away as i'd already created the card base with the scraps from my previous card i'd just not chosen an image to adorn it and two hours later the card was completed.

what i have used:
inks:
fade resistant dye ink: memento - expresso truffle
Tim Holtz:  distress ink
bride:
skin: vintage photo, tattered rose, aged mahogany
hair: antique linen, scorched timber
flowers: victorian velvet, aged mahogany, peeled paint, rustic wilderness
hair ribbon: victorian velvet, aged mahogany
dress: speckled egg
groom:
skin: vintage photo, tattered rose
hair: scorched timber, antique linen
suit: pumice stone, hickory smoke
shoes: black soot
shirt: speckled eggs
tie/cravat: vintage velvet
base shading: weathered wood
papers:
langton cold press watercolour paper 140lbs
Maja designs: 6"x6" vintage baby
white linen card
6" x 8" base card
stamps:
lotv: happily ever after
dies:
boarder die: doohickey
frame & oval: LDRS
mr & mrs from my stash
sentiment: sizzix
miscellaneous:
sakura glitter pen: gold
double sided tape

where you can buy:
lili of the valley: esty shop
the mad scrapper
craftheaven-shop
also
other on line stores and craft fairs

all it leaves me now to say is:
thanks for stopping by enjoy your day and
craft happy, Ann

mr & mrs

well crafters welcome to my share for today.
yay i have done some colouring and i've made a few cards that i will be sharing over the next few days.

i do love creating wedding cards they are my favorite makes

my card has been kept somewhat clean and simple and i have painted her using my distress inks and a few of my favorite dies, colouring skills all thanks to Kit and Clowder online clouring classes and project classes (distress ink).

here's my list of goodies used:
card base: 6x6" white card
stamp: stampingbella curvy girl bride and cut it out die
papers: raspberry road (lili of the valley retired), fabriano 5 water colour card, white card
dies: ldrs guilded oval, mr & mrs (not sure)
inks: memento espresso truffle (image), distress re-inkers in: vintage photo, tattered rose, worn lipstick, antique linen, walnut stain, dusty concord, forest moss, mowed lawn.
embellishments: atyou glitter pen - gold, sparkle medium - diamond.

thanks for stopping by.

mr & mrs

good morning crafters and welcome to my
Penultimate completed card make from my recent colouring fest:
a wedding card

image: Bridesmaids from Lili of the Valley

i had no idea how i was going to finish this project off when i had coloured my image and then it hit me a cas card nothing too fussy and hey presto my card was created.
i just love my glitter card it's such a revalation as the sparkles are picked up in the image.
there is a tiny mistake in the construction of the card but looking at it you wouldn't know.

my image has been coloured with distress ink using glitter card and brown shimmer card for my background and cut embellishments, dies: spellbinder, corner from my stash, creative expressions, emblishments: glitter pens

all it leaves me to say now is:
thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day and craft happy. Ann x
