hi and good morning

popping in with share no 2 for this week

on my card for today i have chosen a shabby chic style and i have to admit i'm a little rusty

although i do like the finished result.

below are a couple of photos of: firstly my pre construction and second my completed card with colours, dies and stamps used.

on my completed card i chose to just use the blue satin ribbon

goodies i have used:

colours:

skin: vintage photo, tattered rose, worn lipstick, walnut stain

hair: scattered straw, walnut stain

Flowers: prize ribbon, faded jeans, rustic wilderness

Dress: spun sugar, kitsch flamingo, saltwater taffy, worn lipstick

wings: spun sugar, victorian velvet

glitter highlights: sakura gel roll pen: gold

and my supplies:

fade resistant dye ink: memento - expresso truffle

Tim Holtz:  distress ink

Fabriano 5 - water colour paper

6" x 6" base card

Dies: doohickey, LRDS, MFT, tonic

papers: white linen card, designer papers by: maja designs

stamps: Summer fairy: Whimsy stamps, sentiments: sizzix

embellishments: wild orchid roses, blue stamens, small pink flowers, blue satin ribbon
