birthday wishes no3

hi and good morning
popping in with my final share for this week.

for today's card i have tried a new style of layout after watching on you-tube a Lady E video, it all looks so easy until it's your turn. i have relied on one of my dies to create my frame (three layers of 160gsm card) and various flowers and bits n bobs i have in my stash, and i've added one of my SB's images as i felt the frame looked a little bare.
note to self: i need to purchase some DL card bases and lots of foam tape for future cards in this style.

goodies i have used:

colours:
skin: vintage photo, tattered rose, worn lipstick
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
Dress: broken china, tumbled glass
bottle: peeled paint, broken china

and my supplies:
fade resistant dye ink: memento - expresso truffle
Tim Holtz:  distress ink
Fabriano 5 - water colour paper
6" x 6" base card
Dies: joy crafts, sue wilson (belated wishes)
papers: white card, designer papers by: lemoncrafts
stamps: Stampingbella - Opal the optimist
embellishments: wild orchid roses, blue stamens, glittery blue berries, white glass berries, stick on pearls, blue satin ribbon
