embellishments

 hi everyone
stopping by today to share some of my embellishment makes using one of my new moulds and my flower dies that will be adorning some of my up-coming makes in the near future.

first are embellishments using my multi mould by prima marketing, i have also bought a couple of Katy - Sue moulds that should arrive any day soon but i must get myself a little plastic rolling pin, tips picked up after watching a Katy-Sue video on you tube.

a large frame (it may be too big and heavy for a card)

and two small frames. all the frames have been sealed with mod-podge, i've covered them with gilding wax and i've added some diamond sparkle paste to two of them.

next i have made some blossomy roses using a lady e designs die: flower 12 along with my flower making paper from pink frog

the flowers haven't been coloured but they have had diamond sparkle brushed over to create a wintery feel for some projects i have in mind

i really love the end results.

and here is a small list of supplies:
mould: prima marketing  - finnabair decor mould, grungy frames (from the mad scrapper)
lady e designs: flowers 12 die
ice crystal flower making paper (pink frog)
mediums: imagination crafts - sparkle medium diamond, mod podge matt, pebeo guilding wax - gold and silver.

thanks for stopping by enjoy your day.

and craft happy. Ann x

Merry Christmas

good morning crafters and welcome to my final share for this week.
a new christmas card: Merry Christmas
i'm sharing a simple-ish matt and layered card using some lovely papers, lots of dies, a stencil, distress ink, glitter glue, a little crackle paste and frantage.
to start with on the base layer of designer paper my stencil has been randomly placed over the corners and inked with a little antique linen and then with walnut stain. before the designer base layer has been taped down i have added and heated my frantage.
(just a little to the bottom left)

i've matt and layered my fishtail banner and positioned it off centre for the design. then i have placed my poinsettia to the right, then added my christmas sentiment.
just a little update on my embellishment making:
my latest delivery of lady e dies is due any day and i have received my foamiran to create some flowers. i'm off shopping tomorrow for some air dry clay (i have bought a new mould by prima marketing) and itching to have a dable.

so hopefully in the next few days all being well i can be left to create some embellishments for my up coming projects...

white 7" x 7" base card
Dies: Anna-Marie designs (sentiment), spellbinder (poinsettia), MFT fishtail flags & lady e designs: leaves

have a warm and cosy christmas 2

hi and good morning
popping in with today's christmas share
i think i have a bit of a theme going on again with papers, dies, and embellishments lol.

i have varied my card a little, i do love my stash of sue wilson sentiment dies i have purchased recently and i totally enjoy creating a little mix media card

on this card i have used a tree die i have in my stash and to make it sturdy so that i can raise mount it onto my design i have drawn around the die using plain off white card and carefully cut the out line of the tree out making sure no ink shows.

have a warm and cosy Christmas

good morning crafters
happy easter to all.
popping in today to share my first Christmas make for this week.

i do love dabbling creating embellishment and adorning my card today i have made a rather large paper flower embellishment using my Lady E and a few other dies, i have ordered another lady e die and i can't wait for my new die and foamiran to arrive then i can dabble some more.
i have created an acetate box for my sentiment so that it's raised off the card and sits on top of the floral embellishment and i have stamped and fussy cut out a christmas tree.

and the papers i have used on the card base are so lovely i didn't want to cover too much.

a little close up of my embellishments and below all the goodies i have used

i just have to make a card box for the card to sit in.

Dies: Sue Wilson (sentiments), lady e flowers & leaves plus some from my stash.
papers: Anna-Marie designs - christmas jingle
ice crystal flower making paper (pink frog)

Merry Christmas

good morning crafters.
i thought i would start off my shares this week with a christmas card.
i've been blissfully teaching myself how to make paper flowers using Lady E flower & leaf dies and loving my creations. as soon as i'd finished the embellishment pictured below i knew it was destined to be on a christmas project (no colour added to the petals or leaves) and i've made the embellishment more christmassy by adding a sparkly centre and lots of sparkle medium to the flower petals and leaves..

next on my flower making journey i am going to try foamiran/silk foam to try and make some flowers they are so beautiful.

and i'm looking forward to a sincerely yours craft show in Leigh this weekend, hopefully i can treat myself to more crafting goodies...

my supplies:
white 7" x 7" base card
Dies: anna-marie (sentiments), baubles: memory box, lady e flowers & leaves.
papers: first edition - merry christmas, glitter and shimmer card: sizzix,
ice crystal flower making paper (pink frog)
foam tape, tacky glue & double sided tape.
stick-on pearls

thanks for stopping by enjoy your day.
