knitted dolls from 2019

hi and Happy New Year to everyone

popping in with two of my last makes of 2019
1st a little knitted doll i have made for my Grandaughter Ruby for this Christmas.
her name is Mercedeses (may be mis-spelt lol)
i have used one of my patterns from MJT (body/head) and my own pattern for her arms and legs.
my doll is approx 9" tall and her hair has been added using a crochet hook and then sewn into place to keep secure and styled into a ponytail with a lovely burgandy ribbon.

my doll:

i have used a variety of natural wools from:
jamiesons of shetland (spindrift), yorkshire spinners 4ply and schopple - Zauberball

i have used 2 1/4mm knitting needles
various embriodary threads for her features
bees wax crayon for her cheeks.

and 2nd using the same size kneedles have knitted a boy that i have managed to complete before the end of 2019.

i still have a little perfecting on my male versions but i think my friend will be happy with him.
meet Karl.
products used:
spindrift peach & black - body, boots & hair
jumper - bergere
shorts - yorkshire spinners 4ply
both dolls have been stuffed with hi-loft polyester doll filling.

i am hopful that 2020 my mojo will return in full and i can start enjoying my crafting again.
but for now:
thanks for stopping by, enjoy what ever you are creating and craft happy.

Wishing you all a prosperous, peaceful and happy 2020
Ann. x
