Merry Christmas 2

hi and good morning.
today's share is a landscape creation using some of my fave dies (snow flakes)
i really adore my LOTV stamps and was so sad when i learned that their polymers stamps weren't as popular as they had hoped and they where reverting back to just digi stamps.

i do however have a large selection of their rubber stamps (phew), some polymer stamps and a few digi stamps to keep me going....

skin: vintage photo, tattered lace
hair: walnut stain
outfit: stormy sky
gloves, hat & skates: ice spruce
dog: walnut stain, antique linen, festive berries

and my supplies:
fade resistant dye ink: memento - expresso truffle
Tim Holtz:  distress ink
Fabriano 5 - water colour paper
8" x 6" base card
papers: white gloss card, white glitter card, designer paper: maja designs
dies: Joy Crafts, anna-marie designs & spellbinder

Merry Christmas 1

popping in with a christmas kind of a cas style share today.
i have a total of seven cards from my september 2020 colouring fest and yesterday's birthday card was the start.
my card today:
i don't think this qualifies for a total cas style card as it's not all white (still learning) but i am led to believe you can add a pop of a coloured panel but it think my designer paper covers too much of the card...

 colours used:
skin: vintage photo, tattered lace, worn lipstick
hair: shaded lilac
dress: spun sugar, worn lipstick
wings: shaded lilac
crescent moon

and my supplies:
fade resistant dye ink: memento - expresso truffle
Tim Holtz:  distress ink
Fabriano 5 - water colour paper
8" x 6" base card
papers: white linen card, designer paper: first edition
dies: Joy Crafts
rubber stamp: lili of the valley: sweet christmas set
embellishments: sakura glitter pens - gold

thanks for stopping by enjoy your day.

photo journal of a new waldorf doll

good morning all
im stopping by with a quickish post of a photo journal of my latest waldorf inspired doll.
although this little cutie has no name as yet she is destined to be a ballerina and i am in the process of creating her outfit, but for now a little taster of her progress

and the journey begins with her body

hand sewn together using a small back stich

all body parts sewn and turned out

at this point i attach the dolls head
as i find this the easiest for me in the process of doll making

the dolls head was created with a little needle felting, her body and arms have been stuffed with wool and all the pices are sewn into place.

a little blush added to define her cheeks and forhead

my new auntie flo wefted wig attached

and my doll has been dressed to keep her warm.

dolls hair has been tied back
until her new outfit is ready

join me again soon to see the completed doll.

thanks for looking, enjoy your day and
craft happy, Ann
