happy birthday

hi and welcome to my share for today.
i have created another male birthday card using Sunday Stroll from Lili of the Valley

he's such a handsome chappie and the dog is rather cute.
this vintage boy has been painted with distress inks and i have chosen to use a simple card layout, a little mat and layer using some first edition papers i've had in my stash for quite a while.

i usually colour about 5 or 6 male/masculine images up in one go and make a batch of cards for the boys but on this occasion i only managed to colour 3, there are 2 more waiting on my desk that need to be inked. hopefully whilst i'm on leave from work i can get them finished..

onto what i have used:

inks:
fade resistant dye ink: memento - expresso truffle
Tim Holtz:  distress ink
vintage photo, tattered rose, walnut stain, antique linen, pumice stone, faded jeans, old paper, shabby shutters, weathered wood.
papers:
watercolour paper: langton hp - smooth
designer paper: first edition, wild at heart
linen card: cream
7" x 7" base card
stamps:
LOTV: sunday stroll
sentiment: my favourite things
dies: tonic circles
miscellaneous:
double sided tape

where you can buy:
stamps: LOTV - image
other stamps: dies to die for - mft - sentiment
dies: on line stores and craft fairs

all it leaves me now to say is:
thanks for stopping by enjoy your day and
craft happy, Ann
