knitted doll & felted dolls head

good morning and welcome to my knitted share today.
i hope everyone is safe and well.

today's knitted doll has safely been delivered to her new home and i'm really pleased with how she has come together.
i have given her multi-coloured hair, white tights and a sweet dress that has been finished with a picot  edge.
as always my doll has been made using a variety of natural wool and has been filled using BS safety high loft polyester stuffing.

i thought that i would also share another form of doll making. i so love waldorf dolls and decided to try and create waldorf style doll that include a little felting, which i have purchased from dear little doll (pattern/workbook). it has had it's ups and downs (my fingers are like pin cushions and dam sore. note to self be careful )
sadly due to the pandemic a workshop i was going to attend next month has had to be cancelled so i am waiting patiently for when Debbie over at little oke dolls rearranges a workshop by Meglena from north coast dolls.

the two photos aren't the best

back to my knitted doll (it's much safer ha ha)

jamiesons spin drift - face & hands, west yorkspinners 4 ply - tights, bottom half of dress, jumper, debbie bliss & jenny watson dk pure merino - hair and kidsilk haze top of dress.

a litle news on my card making:
i have done a little stamping and painting with my distress inks and will be sharing some of my cards soon.

stay safe, enjoy your day and craft happy.
