Waldorf inspired doll: a sweet flower girl - Penny

good afternoon crafters, i hope that each and every one of you are well.
popping in after a short break with a new waldorf inspired doll
i'd like you all to meet Penny

Penny has loving been made using a variety of yarns from my favorite online stores.
The begining of her journey: her body with an unusual hat which has not been used (save for another doll)

as my dolls evolve and i become more and more confidant in the make up of them i still find myself trawlling the internet for different types of yarn for the body's especially skin tone.
and whilst watching C&C the other week i stumbbled upon toft who create lovely amigurimi toys.
they have a fine yarn (like a 4ply) and i have taken a punt and bought a 50gm ball of oatmeal and i am pleased as punch as the tone of the yarn matches the tone of the dolls fabric face.

here is a little photo shoot of Penny the flower girl

isn't she adorable

as always i need to give a shout out to those that inspire me:
North coast dolls
mary jane tearoom dolls
lalia dolls
dear little doll
to name a few.

supplies come from a variety of sources:
little oke dolls
the knitters attic

here's a list of goodies used:
