Happy Birthday

 good morning and welcome to my share for today

a simple male matt and layered birthday card using an image/polymer stamp from Lili of the Valley.

this is teeing off:

i currently have a few projects in the making even though it has been a while since i sat down to do some colouring, and as always i think why have i not been colouring...

but such is life and i have enjoyed my brief colouring spell. but there is more to come in the future...lol

todays card is for my stash just in case i forget someone..

big birthday wishes

hi and welcome to my share for today.

a card for my brother in law, they have a beautiful and very large garden and i thought stripes from Lili of the valley would be perfect.

i have been experimenting with creating a scene on some my recent cards, and

on todays card there are a lot of pluses with the design and a lot of things to improve on.

i did however enjoy this process after the sucess of one of my christmas designs, the down side on todays card was my mask and especially the stamping block i had used for the trees i didn't get a clear image hence the sentiment covering the trees.

there are still lots of things to learn though.

i have used various background stamps that i bought recently from Lavinia stamps, also one of my tim holtz stencils and created some free hand flowers.

the whole design has been coloured with distress ink and all the stamped images i have used my memento ink expresso truffle as i love the vintage feel.
