starting with a belated
happy new year to you all.
popping in this evening with my first card of twenty twenty two and would you beleive it it's a christmas card
it's more than six months since i have sat down and done any card crafting and yesterday for the first time i felt like card making.
i have recently purchased some beautiful maja design christmas papers which i have used on my creation today but also six to eight months ago bought lots of new dies and paper pads to make last years festive cards and didn't make jot.
everything is just at a stanstill with me at the minute even the doll i was working on has been put to one side.
i know i'm not the only one who is struggling with everything and i have turned a very small corner and it's a start.
for my card
supplies:
6"x6" white base card
designer paper: maja designs - happy christmas (from the mad scrapper) paper has been over stamped with snow flakes with grey and cream shimmer card stock used on my die cut embellishments, sentiments and matting
dies: sizzix thinlits by tim holtz, sentiments: creative expressions mini expressions by sue wilson
stamps: big & bold stamps by - colorado craft company
LOTV pre-printed image from my stash of paper squares (bought a lifetime ago lol)
my card has been embellished with:
glitter, textured paste etc
